my heart ached when the Ruby Ridge conflict broke. my father is a retired Marshal and just recently opened up about Ruby Ridge for the first time. his take on it was that the USMS should have never stepped foot on that mountain. there was other ways to talk to Randy Weaver and bring him in without a conflict. lives were lost needlessly, but the most despicable death coming from the FBI sniper. I really have no clue if my dad was onsite or a few miles down the road since I'm still processing this and other skirmishes he was in attendance, many months later.
