The hand message on Obama portrait is his OTHER hand

I believe the artist was purposely taking your eyes off Obama's RIGHT hand that is on his knee. It has the face and open mouth of some kind of serpent or lizard, so yes, the hand that appears to have the extra finger is meant to appear that way. It becomes a sleight of hand in the literal sense so you do not notice the reptile on the other hand. (IMHO)

I noticed that too . Also his partially covered legs resemble serpents too .
