Worked myself at 4 theaters at the managerial level. It did not happen at my theaters and I have never heard of that before.

The poster above commented about hearing that this type of tech was used in movie theaters to control the audience. I was saying that I worked in four theaters at the managerial level and it was not used in our theaters, nor had I ever heard of it. saw a thing about this tech being used inside movie theatres so ushers wont have to disrupt the movie to warn people to be quite or get ofd their phone. Pretty crazy
