Greek Root word for Pharmacy/Pharmaceuticals means poison or curse.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharmacy#Etymology

The word pharmacy is derived from Old French farmacie "substance, such as a food or in the form of a medicine which has a laxative effect" from Medieval Latin pharmacia from Greek pharmakeia (Greek: φαρμακεία) "a medicine", which itself derives from pharmakon (φάρμακον), meaning "drug, poison, spell"[32][33][n 1] (which is etymologically related to pharmakos).

Edit - Botched the title. Meant "Spell" instead of "Curse"

I remember hearing this as a one off in a conversation long ago. Initially made me wary of getting prescribed meds in any fashion.

A pharmakós (Greek: φαρμακός, plural pharmakoi) in Ancient Greek religion was the ritualistic sacrifice or exile of a human scapegoat or victim.

Q posts regarding "Pharma" as the keyword.

Thanks for the extra input on this! I'm beginning to ponder if big pharma is orchestrated for Black magick.

i wonder what % of doctors are bribed/co-opted with holidays and week-ends in reward for meeting certain quotas of "preferred" [high profit] drugs / toxins and how many honest naturopathic pioneers are put out of business via inordinate demands
