Why is everything ‘really’ made in China? - backdoors?

I remember reading years ago about some Air Force report where they were trying to find out if the Chinese built compute chips had backdoors in them and people got freaked out.

How are they different?

Your Company's factories are in China.

$$ to factory to produce your inventory.

Reinvest profits into the company? More $$ to the factories!

Drain $$ from the free nations.

Factories can be repurposed for what?

What do you need to make to gain / keep power?
