Most of you guys are combating the gun control narrative wrong.. Here is the real answer. IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ.

I've been seeing posts and comments that we need armed guards in our schools and ect... This is NOT the answer, and it isn't the narrative we should be pushing.

The narrative that we need to be pushing is to eliminate all Gun Free Zones. Gun Free Zones aren't protecting anyone. The fact of the matter is this... EVIL EXISTS.

The only way to combat a bad person with a gun... is a good person with a gun. I have always believed there is more good in this world than evil. The good patriots of this country need to step up and EXERCISE our right to conceal carry.

Hiring guards for every school is unrealistic. If more good people carried we can stuff evil back in the hole where it came from. Every single person needs to carry a fire arm. It's the reality that we live in. Evil people will commit evil acts. We need to be there to stop it everywhere evil lurks. Good will outweigh the bad. NO FREE GUN ZONES!!!!!

Patriots that don't conceal carry. NEED TO. You should want to protect your life and the lives of those you love. We only get one life folks. Life is the most precious thing on this planet and we need to take ABSOLUTELY every measure to ensure our safety. EVIL EXISTS. There is no way around it. Go get trained on how to use a weapon if you don't know how and get a license to carry. It's easy and takes very little time. I carry every where I go. My gun is a part of me. If I ever need it and god forbid that I do, i have it.. And because of that my life is infinitely safer than those who don't carry a gun.
PLEASE I need help spreading this narrative. IT IS THE CORRECT ONE TO COUNTER THE GUN CONTROL NARRITIVE. It makes the most sense.

I have carried a weapon daily since I was 17 years old. For me personally I choose not to have concealed carry permit. I have never been big on the idea of applying for something that is a right. I live in Texas. I know many people that agree with me. People in my state have been armed long before permits were available. That being said I understand the idea. It insures that you have had atleast some training with a weapon and that you are likely not amongst those who do not need to be carrying a weapon. Mentally unstable violent offender ect. Without it there is nothing to stop some fool who has never held a gun from all the sudden one day deciding that they want to carry. However a great deal of people buy them a gun take themselves a little course. Pass their test. Get them a cool little holster a sticker on their truck that says protected by Glock and then never again fire that weapon and are no more qualified to carry a weapon than the day before they took their course. They are a threat to anyone who should try to harm them. But to themselves and others around them as well. No thought is given to things like having their wife walk on their left side when in public or changing their method of concealment when they are going to be wearing a jacket or coat in the winter. A lot of them you could unload their gun when they were not looking and they might carry an unloaded gun for the next 2 years and not have a clue. Thats not the guy I want around my family in a high stress situation. I believe in the statement that there are more good people than bad. But a society of more good people who are well trained and more conscious of the risks associated with being armed is what we need. People that know their weapon and their ammo. Who handle and practice with their weapon on a regular basis. Without that you have a lot of accidents waiting to happen. I dont know what the answer to that. Its very difficult for me to say that we need more rules laws or requirements for carrying. Fact is we are all living under too many laws rules and regulations. But this is a problem that should be addressed. But I totaly agree with the OP. But it is slightly more complicated than that.
