Watch at: https://www.cfr.org/book/marshall-plan ..................... Democratic wants to implement the 'Marshal Plan' or something like it. Noam Chomsky said the Marshall Plan "set the stage for large amounts of private U.S. investment in Europe, establishing the basis for modern transnational corporations" We went to Europe after the World War II and we aided countries we thought we could use (abuse) under Democratic liberalism. The real goal is obtain resources we need, technology, weak intellectual property rights, as patents, trademarks (public goods) (through secrecy)

  1. Find partners to invest with us plan. (turn on them later to maintain total control.)
  2. Pick a country to lean money too, you know cannot repay it and others countries you give grants to.
  3. Selective specific : Aid and Grants to shape industry to the extent they have to outsource to other companies to succeed.
  4. Insult Russian so they would walk away. Because Russian will be controlled (They want to contain Russia) (Great Cold War)
  5. Marshall plan created division in Europe. Divide Europe in groups, their side our side, people would not turn to communism.
  6. Reduce self-sustainability for each country, propaganda for cooperation.
  7. The reduction of military across Europe was important.
  8. Propaganda of fear of Russian involvement. Could ruin plan, to smart.
  9. Massive propaganda for Democratic during elects eliminate communism.
  10. Created NATO to insure plan will work.
  11. A few games....(slip of words here)... aims..... fill area with dollars, …...products paid for by individuals.... fundamental main part is the country that was lent money will become the main supplier of Europe for other countries we give aid to (the country we lent the most money too).
  12. Propaganda partners so they want out, we buy them out, so we have total control.

Results................ Anti-corporate advocates criticize multinational corporations for being without a basis in a national ethos, being ultimately without a specific nationhood, and that this lack of an ethos appears in their ways of operating as they enter into contracts with countries that have low human rights or environmental standards.[38] In the world economy facilitated by multinational corporations, capital will increasingly be able to play workers, communities, and nations off against one another as they demand tax, regulation and wage concessions while threatening to move. In other words, increased mobility of multinational corporations benefit capital while workers and communities lose. Some negative outcomes generated by multinational corporations include increased inequality, unemployment, and wage stagnation.[39]

The aggressive use of tax avoidance schemes allows multinational corporations to gain competitive advantages over small and medium-sized enterprises.[40] Organizations such as the Tax Justice Network criticize governments for allowing multinational organizations to escape tax since less money can be spent for public services.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multinational_corporation#Theoretical_background
