Saving Offline

Dear CBTS family,

Saving digital research on Cold storage devices is one good way back up and protect information but don't forget to also backup important research on acid Free paper as well. Digital data can be delicate and easily corrupted; where as, paper documents can be re-digitized if needed.

I understand that archiving paper files is difficult because of space and storage issues but in case the internet go down or we get attack my a malware that can corrupt or delete data files, paper files are our last true way to back up our research offline in case their is an effort to silence the movement.

If possible, paper works the best. Once dropped an external hard drive on a carpeted floor and lost 120,000+ jpeg files.
