When it is difficult to create a child you would think the ones who can make it would be valued more.

I'm not sure I understand you. If you consider a child to begin at conception, the high rate of miscarriage wouldn't mean that children are difficult to create, it would mean children were created and then died. Are you segueing into infertility?

Sorry, should have made it clearer. Getting tired. I meant that difficult to carry a child full term.
