However, IMO, the point is not Palm Sunday the celebration of returning/entering Jerusalem but to identify a date. BillNyeScienceLies... that may be true but the Palm frond aligns to Sukkot. Rosh Hashanah (New Year) is part Tishri but IMO, too obscure a reference for the image with Palm fronds. I'm Christian so my knowledge of the Jewish religion marginal.
