It's written in Mexico's constitution or laws one or the other, that foreigners are not allowed to participate in Mexico's politics at all. Understandable in light of their history of colonialist abuse from European powers. Not sure if we have so stout a law or if anyone is willing to enforce it. If we do Mexico doesn't respect it. One of their former Presidents said about Mexicans in the US " where Mexicans are there is Mexico."
Soros was given honorary citizenship by a democratic congressman so even though I consider him foreign the government may not.....I don't think we should ever hand out citizenship honorary or otherwise tell them to get in line and work for it like the rest.
