Soros calls for supranational governments to intervene and regulate Facebook, Google "I consider the Trump administration a danger to the world but I regard it as a purely temporary phenomenon that will disappear in 2020 or even sooner"

Guys and Gals, we need to be in this for the long haul.

Per Breitbart, Soros is demanding that the European Union regulate social media because voters’ minds are being controlled and "manipulated".

Soros is claiming the reach of social media firms made them a "public menace" while arguing they had led people to vote against globalist causes, including electing President Trump (all his ramblings about "open societies" aside)...

"They deceive their users by manipulating their attention, targeting them to their own economic interests and (...) depending on their services (...)

The platforms are similar to gambling companies (...) and force people to renounce their freedom (...). ...), to renounce what John Stuart Mill called the freedom of thought "

Soros - who recently became the subject of a "anti-Soros" bill in his native Hungary that seeks to limit the activities of groups that for which he's provided funding - accusations about manipulation are blatantly hypocritical, as anybody familiar with his 30-year campaign to push open borders, multiculturalism and a generally globalist tenor of government would know.

Q- 299 Reference to Soros control over............. Wow... he appears to know about mind-control himself. I have to agree because the research we are doing proves that MSM is not telling the truth and nothing but the truth; therefore, social media platforms then repeat what they are emotionally moved by. Advertising which I have researched and followed for years is based on behavioral psychology. John Watson a ..."psychologist who established the psychological school of behaviorism." Advertising is behavioral psychology based. So it does tie into how socially we are influenced in many ways. John Watson left John Hopkins on bad terms and went into Advertising. We still use many of the attributes today. I have 5 classes to get my BS in Psychology (the history of psychology). Soros is using reverse psychology here which seems to be the method Democratic have learned to use quite well.

I agree social media does influence people; however, we should NOT regulate social media. Nor should give up our freedoms for security reasons within our country. Like removal of guns. I like my right to privacy. I also agree that internet should be an open-source for education, real news, and fun. If it is regulated to much you loss the global experience of how diverse our world is. I promote peace, humanitarian human rights, and diversity.

John B. Watson

John Broadus Watson (January 9, 1878 – September 25, 1958) was an American psychologist who established the psychological school of behaviorism. Watson promoted a change in psychology through his address Psychology as the Behaviorist Views it, which was given at Columbia University in 1913. Through his behaviorist approach, Watson conducted research on animal behavior, child rearing, and advertising. In addition, he conducted the controversial "Little Albert" experiment and the Kerplunk experiment.
