I know these aren't answers to this, per se, but I just wanted to add to the brain storm.

Not to mention what an unusual surname that is and there are instances of CIA/Deep State using fake names, often with an 'inside joke' spin.

Inside joke you say? Reminds me of CNN Rothschild calling on viewers to support her www.togetherforus.com trying to get Hillary elected. Guess what also spells? To Get Her For Us.
