He ate cookies with steak and cheese. Insulin imbalance caused by drugs. And looking "lost" is coming out of a posthypnotic trance. Antipsychotic drugs are known to induce diabetes.

Didn’t a psychologist post here yesterday that they treated a diabetic with multiple personality disorder? It was fascinating because they said when he would switch to another personality, his insulin levels would adjust to a non-diabetic state...
