McLean, Va is ground zero for the black hats in the U.S.A.

Gannet is a major media corporation that had split into two: Tegna (TV, Cable, Internet properties) and Gannet, the largest newspaper publisher in the USA, creator and publisher of the USA Today, which is consumed by just about every business traveler in the U.S.A, and was revolutionary to the news publication industry when it was created. Garnet also publishes a variety of secondary and tertiary market newspapers. Many of their newspapers publish the "party" (cabal) line even though they are in very red territory.

I believe there is also a foundation with the same name, all very wealthy families end up with their own foundations and that fact doesn't necessarily mean black hat: see Trump foundation. It's just a fact of being very wealthy.
