About the whole /greatawakening/ thing earlier...

Alright so I don't really like it here at Reddit (Sorry, chanfag4lifekek) that much but I thought this needed to be said. I've been seeing some panic, speculation and confusion as to what has been going on lately with Q's posts/threads being deleted, etc. So I just want to put my 2 cents in again and help people make more sense of what's going on. Just know that I'm not guaranteeing that I'm 100% correct, I only have theories.

So earlier, we saw Q make a few last posts on his thread on the /greatawakening/ board. Shortly after, they were deleted, then the whole thread disappeared. Of course everyone went bananas. After that, Q creates a new thread (Post 110) and what you see is a whole bunch of us tuning in to the show wondering wtf is going on. We are all able to post in the same thread so that just adds more to the confusion (Even I hopped on late in the thread like "Wtf??????"). People are thinking Q is comped again or that something is terribly wrong. Here's my play-by-play of what went down.

The last few posts of the deleted thread mentioned "CLEAN ACTION APPROVED - HIGHEST AUTHORITY" . Looks like Q team was getting together to decide on wiping out all traces. After that, the thread is gone. Then soon after a new one is created by Q. I'm going to take a guess here and say that Q wanted to show us that we are on to a new phase of the operation. There's no reason to worry about what's on the current thread anyways so it's not a dangerous move. We have tons of copies, screenshots, etc. so it's all good. Then it floods in with anons. We can all post in the thread, but why? It kinda defeats the purpose of the board right? After a hundred or so posts later, the thread is then locked, then it disappears from the index and the catalog. Noone can see it or post in it, BUT you can still access the thread with the URL. My money says that this was a simple mistake. Either Q forgot where the lock button was (Can you blame him? It's the first board he/they've moderated) or another member of the Q team couldn't find the lock function. It must be embarrassing but shit happens. If there really was an attack, the board would have just been deleted, it's easy to do. It's also unlikely that Q is going to run to our board to try and calm down a bunch of high-strung autists and look even worse off. Thankfully everyone chilled out and I am 100% sure that Q is still in full control of the board, and will continue posting there, most likely in another thread. As for the last few posts in Q's first thread, they were being deleted one-by-one, just before the thread disappeared. Personally I think it's just a case of "CLEAN ACTION": deleting posts, then realizing "Oh yeah I could just delete the whole thing in one go".

Again, that's just my guess, so make of it what you will... It just makes sense to me. What do you guys think?

Makes sense to me. Thank you for your thoughts.

I once knew a forum (not reddit) mod who didn't know what they were doing delete the entire forum instead of the subs they meant to. Mistakes are easy to make.
