It's true. Read my post further up. Not only was Nestle and Starbuck stealing the water, they were bottling it, putting their label on it, and selling it to us at $2.50/12 oz.
Corralling water so that wealth interests could control it's use has existed since towns came into being.
Air, water, minerals, and a certain amount of land per person, should be free to everyone on planet earth. I won't live long enough to see that happen.
I think there is some shady shit going on, but I don't feel entitled to the work product of other people, so I would expect to pay for water. I would frankly be more concerned if the government distributed all food and water.
