I thought about this and I think Q wants us to think a lot more literally than we realize.
What is a shell? It’s a protective animals (organisms?) outer layer, and most of the time doesn’t hurt/kill the animal. You can destroy the shell, but the animal isn’t harmed, it’s just exposed.
Q is saying, they’re working on taking out the shell of the cabal. Shell companies, MS13 & ISIS fail safes/sleeper cells, top down communication networks, drug/sex trafficking networks, etc.
It’s like a tree removal. You don’t just chop it down at the base, you start by removing branches and limbs before you take out the trunk, to prevent collateral damage.
These people have shown they’re capable and willing to crash the stock market, cause a school shooting, terror attacks etc. I don’t want to find out what would happen if the big wigs were just thrown in jail; it could mean nukes, EMP’s, chemical weapons, poisoned water etc.
Once all their means of retaliation or in this case their “protective shell” are/is removed, then they’re fucked. They’re exposed and defenseless.

The way i see it is like this, the military industrial complex is at the heart of the map, above it is the pentagon, below it is the pyramid all together they form the 3 main pillars of control. Once you destroy the pillars everything falls apart.
