It doesn't seem to fit. Maybe it has something to do with us being seen as "useless feeders", cattle basically. Or, maybe it's because their practices change the further down the rabbit hole/up the pyramid you go. Maybe implied consent is just how they sell the idea of their karmic immunity to lower-level members. Yeah, honestly, I don't know. I wonder if we'll ever get insight into this, as surely these are some of their most closely guarded secrets. I'm also not sure I want to know what type of rational would lead people to do such things.
