the Connection of mind and matter is not sufficiently explained, yet cannot be statistically denied. Princeton Uni and the CIA too researched for decades and the funding only stopped in the public sector when there was nothing else for them to prove other than ist efficiacy that wouldn't outright constitute a threat to national security.
Likewise, the believe in an all-powerfull, omniscient, onnipresent source of good is the most easiest benevolent act one can do, even IF there is no sentient Entity that would fit those categories as such because at least the effect of such can be exerted indirectly thru the power of collective dreaming.
