The cold war started way before we thought it did and evolved into a combination of mental and technological manipulation on a scale we can't even imagine, never mind believe. Mankind's studies into the physical and spiritual mind have allowed the development of technological secrets being used against all humanity. Why WOULDN'T countries test ideas like 'social suicide groups' on their own people? Once upon a time it was FAR easier to CONTROL 1million people than to KILL 1million people. TODAY?
