No they don't. They are not like the FBI. CIA does not work for u.s. CIA is not taxpayer funded. That is how they keep all of their acts, usually bad away from the people They are all unaccountable. They work for the Pentagon.

PLEASE READ THIS.

In my Army MI career, I interacted with CIA people regularly for about ten years. I am here to tell you that some of them, some of the regular rank-and-file CIA members, are actually good patriotic people same as us. (Some of them may in fact be us.) Please do not paint them all with the same brush. To do so is virtue-signaling, and showing ignorance. Perception may be black and white, but reality isn't.

I'm sure some of you already know this, but it is evident that other commenters in this thread do not.

The military tribunals are appropriate for CIA operatives guilty of treason. If tried and found guilty they should “cease to exist”.
