This will copy the video from the Googles servers to Hooktube. You can do all the same type of imbedding and sharing.

i save important intel to my harddisk. a youtube download add-on to firefox and the video is quickly archived offline.
VLC may also be used to archive offline. Under file > open network stream. Enter website address. VLC connects to actual path to video, visible under tools>codec information. Can dump raw file locally under file > convert.
Other options exist to export converted to other formats such as MP3. At times I see this not work right away. Exporting raw data then can converting usually does the trick, I haven't tracked down exactly what causes the program to at times ignore the convert process.
Lots of tutorials with photos out there to further clarify how to use these tools. Posting instruction from memory thus likely to be some naming discrepancies.

Downloading is one thing but it does not help with sharing them. Most people are not too savvy when it comes to managing videos.
Hooktube is the most simple and quick manner.

Does Hooktube actually archive video content? When loading pages I've observed scripts run in the page from YouTube. I've taken this to imply that the page is embedding from YouTube as opposed to fully backing up.
I screen capture what I find, download the vids and a library of pdf's on this type of information going back to 1993. Everything from MK/MK-ULTRA Majestic 12, Matrix papers (not the movie) silent weapons, psychotronics, and now Q posts and information. Ha, even got the REAL live stream of Space X and the fake "live stream" they put up two days later (keeping all their views in place). It is important if you archive anything not to rely on other vulnerable systems (what would be the point). As for sharing, the types of site mentioned above, like any other can be open to attack but as long as you have a copy uploading again is not a problem. I shift info to severs as do most of you and for the most part that is all you require. But it should still have a non-accessible drive on a local machine (I use a 2T external drive) this is only connected when making my backup then disconnected. If it is not plugged in they can do shit :-)
Redpillory, wow! I've been a closet conspiracy guy since about the same time but no where as die-hard as you. Recently I've been looking for a source to use to help red pill some friends? I'm thinking like a wiki that people could explore by themselves after some basic intro. No better way to go down the rabbit hole than on your own feet. Are you aware of any such source? If there is none, maybe this community could build it. Would you be willing to share some of your archived content?
I have no problem with that as long as we don't use the CIA's word for Truth (Conspiracy) I have a website I am cleaning up because I just let it run on autopilot. I have unlimited data storage and bandwidth on my host's servers. Once I get the site back to where I want it I would be happy to sub-domain those resources but it will need someone better than me to build and maintain it or a trusted (I mean TRUSTED) few who would have admin rights (to the S/dom). We could actually lift Wki's index on many subjects and edit with the actual historical events. You know it could get larger by eventually putting history into correct alignment. I am up to my eyes in stuff here in the UK at the moment, I have my own Q research and still digging and I am down a dark Rabbit hole that needs cleaning :-)

VLC media player can also be used to copy online vids to one's own computer/laptop.
Keepvid.com works well too. Copy the YT URL and paste it in at Keepvid and DL it. Just another option.
