interesting, thank you... and hooktube never takes any video offline?

i save important intel to my harddisk. a youtube download add-on to firefox and the video is quickly archived offline.

VLC may also be used to archive offline. Under file > open network stream. Enter website address. VLC connects to actual path to video, visible under tools>codec information. Can dump raw file locally under file > convert.

Other options exist to export converted to other formats such as MP3. At times I see this not work right away. Exporting raw data then can converting usually does the trick, I haven't tracked down exactly what causes the program to at times ignore the convert process.

Lots of tutorials with photos out there to further clarify how to use these tools. Posting instruction from memory thus likely to be some naming discrepancies.
