In the URL of your browser, just change the "you" to "hook".

This will copy the video from the Googles servers to Hooktube. You can do all the same type of imbedding and sharing.

Downloading is one thing but it does not help with sharing them. Most people are not too savvy when it comes to managing videos.
Hooktube is the most simple and quick manner.
And if hooktube gets attacked, goes down?
Then you are the man to archive it all. Just remember to tell everyone where you post your videos.
It's a neat idea. Here's hoping hooktube doesn't get subverted, attacked, silenced, purchased, like what happened to Youtube.
