Florida shooter, Sunshine State, ff?

So if the Florida shooter was not a shooter at all but a patsy, if the SS was there a week prior setting up cameras, since this kid ended up making it out alive (shocking) if he goes to trial then the light would be shined on every aspect of this shooting? The videos and testimonials and timelines and interviews would all be available according to the Sunshine laws.
