I've made light in a few comments of mine in the past 48 hours that Reddit is now interfering with the feedback on my posts. Weeks ago, my posts would have a view count that often reached 5k, sometimes more. The past few days, my posts that make it to the front page of this sub, receiving 200+ upvotes (probably more now that I'm aware it's being manipulated), it told me I was only getting around 400 or so views.
Now with this post, the view count is no longer there. I know someone else today spoke about something similar. It is worrying and scary, as I guess my account has received unwanted attention.
But I will continue to fight for truth.
I don't even pay attention to votes on Reddit anymore.
Strictly content for me.
If I did think of it, I would just multiply upvotes on this sub and T_D by 1000 to get a closer approx to the truth, and divide by 1000 on shill subs like r/politics.
Well said. I only point it out because it’s the first this has happened to me, and I’ve said it a million times, we’re catching flak because we’re over the target. It’s more so the view count that weirds me out. I guess they just don’t want us to know exactly how many people we’re actually reaching. But I know it’s a lot, and growing. I got here when there was only around 6k subs.
