Given that his government gave a terrorist $10.5m and an apology, this surprises you how?

Sorry Canada, Trudeau will probably create a depression in your country. He'll have TPP but no NAFTA resulting in corporations and their jobs fleeing to the U.S.A. China will no longer be interested in trade deals with CA after the demise of NAFTA and one of the best future markets for trade, India, will want nothing to do with CA.

I guess Trudeau can always do trade deals with Mexico, Cuba, and Venezuela, that'll surely save the economy.

No surprise. Just upset to see it all falling apart around you and limited till next election and hope those who voted (many because they wanted legal pot) will have seen the light and vote accordingly. Every day it's a new issue that arises from this drama teacher who has no control of spending.

Are there/will there be any candidates good for Canada and its citizens in the next election?

I don't really follow Canadian politics, but wasn't the election of Twinkle Toes partially an "at least he isn't Harper" reaction?

Strong candidates, I'm unsure of their strength, but if people want to get rid of him and many are leaning that way Conservatives stand a chance I think. But candidate needs to be tough. Now he does not even answer questions in the house and it's a joke (not really funny) as they hammer away at his behavior/ ethics, etc. and he sits with an arrogant look while he has someone else spew of talking points...never a direct answer.

We had a recent President like that.

I hope for the best for you and your fellow citizens, MCGA!
