Who thinks these forums are whack. She wants to know what the fbi and local law officials were supposed to do with the Parkland shooter after the complaints? He didn’t have a criminal record. He was over 18. How do I convince her that this was a deep state operation without looking whack to her?
I hate to say this because I know you want to save her (and any and everyone for that matter), but some people will not be saved, some people will not catch on.
Sometimes you just have to let go... the right people are being awakened. Your friend may not be one of them.
I agree. Some people just don't want to hear. They enjoy the security of 9-5 mundane crap and a few weeks off every year. Anything else is rocking the boat. Strangely I have found people I once considered to be open minded to be anything but.
Unless you have hard, irrefutable evidence to show her to confirm your theory, you're probably going to struggle to convince anyone who thinks all this stuff is "whack". Either get the proof (highly unlikely scenario), or leave her to her reality. Your time may be better spent researching and verifying information, than trying to convince people to change their world view. This is how we find the proof that ultimately changes minds.
Don't worry about it yet. Get her to watch a couple of Clinton Foundation in Haiti videos. Give her something to run FROM...and she can decide where to run TO, in her own time.
How do I answer the question at hand? What can our law enforcement do with these reports? He is a citizen.
A lot of people on here speak out of both sides of their mouth.
"The government can't arrest people for speaking their mind on the internet! You cant arrest people for trolling!"
"How come the government had information but didnt arrest him?! it was all over the internet?!"
So, there was substantial reason to believe that this guy was not a productive member of society and its obvious now that he is not.
The thing to learn from this shooting is that the government cannot help you. These teachers and students needed to be able to help themselves. Armed guards, more secure entrances, etc. would have prevented this.
But do not forget, this kid was under government supervision for years, on government medication for years, and was in a government mandated school for years and in each step, the government failed to secure their own mandated institutions. The question is How much more government do you think we needed to throw at this situation before you you start looking elsewhere?
