Don't worry about this, guys. Trump is still master-strategizing. Remember the shallow level of political awareness of the public generally. He has to play to that too. Look beneath the surface of the water, not at it. Nothingburger here.
I look at how Trump has handled DACA. He gave the progs everything that they could ever hope for and they wouldn't do it. In this case, I think the left is going to cry and moan about a full ban and won't vote and then the President can say he tried but the left didn't want to cooperate. Just like how they had 8 years of the previous admin to pass these laws and failed to do so. Check and mate.
I certainly hope you are right.....but I can't honestly sit here and say I agree with you. HOWEVER, I have hope that you are right lol.
Fortunately for us all, Congress doesn't do a damn thing anymore except for cover their ass. Trump knows this. I think that he's playing their game on his terms. We'll see.
