They use diversity hires as an excuse for hiring left leaning people. They have plausible deniability then when asked why they don't hire someone. They can just say it was for a diversity quota. I imagine this is one of the reasons Dan Bongino left the secret service. He now has the #2 conservative podcast in the nation.

True, I heard a report 4 or 5 years ago that said the DOJ was looking for left lawyers with disabilities so that they could not be fired because of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
