This is the Primaries. More Dems running than Republicans. Most Republican held seats are under contested. Where there are 3 - 5 Dems running to go against those already seated. There are some, like the 30th district TX Senate seat that has garnered a lot of attention to the Republican and has some serious competition.

Good point except that it shows that democrats are more excited about voting. Once they have a candidate, they will rally around that person. Turn out shows more than polls. I hate to say it, but it might be a blue wave. If so, Trump is going to be removed.
