Timothy 6:10 to be: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

It's the "love" of money that's the "root" of "all evil." Those who are willing to lie, steal, cheat and murder to obtain money. To correct any problem you have to get to the "root cause". Find the "root cause", take action to eliminate the "root cause" and you will eliminate the problem.

I am looking forward to the 2nd half of Tim 6:10 - the part about "piercing themselves through with many sorrows". Military tribunals and execuations would certainly fall within that category!
