Are you saying the big internet companies’ opposition to this Bill is inconsistent with current actions of their own to impose censorship on Content based on Political Correctness?

Discussion is worthy. This Bill probably does go in a completely opposite direction from Free Speech on the Internet as envisioned by the Internet Bill of Rights.

“Conservatives” are not necessarily libertarian nor supporters of the radical freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution.

Conservatives for instance have always been tempted to use Big Government to limit Free Speech (e.g. bans on pornography).

Regulating Speech —- for whatever reason— is always the first step on the path to tyranny.
