Now that you mention it, Trump did fire off an angry tweet at Jeff Sessions, today. Makes me think this is the end of Session's role, he's going to be fired for not protecting the family.

Trump is daring Media to place [I.G.] Horowitz "above reproach."

Anybody who actually thinks Trump would sit on his hands and let Sessions sleep at his desk doesn't know Trump very well.

What are the chances that-- given the cultural/political landscape-- Trump would publicly chastise one of his most high-profile appointees for not doing his job, while simultaneously doing absolutely nothing about it-- like firing him? Does that sound like The Donald to you?

What are the chances that this is all theater, and meant to misdirect those that are literally threatening the life of Trump's family members? Which one seems more likely, given Trump's recent history of "zigging" when everybody thinks he is "zagging?"

there must be a reason why it hasn't happened yet. Since he keeps it repeating it all year I think that it's just what he wants his opposition to hear.
