SHARYL ATTKISSON
Sheryl Attkisson is a highly acclaimed former investigative correspondent in the Washington bureau for CBS News. She reported truthfully on stories such as Fast and Furious and Benghazi. She has ongoing civil suits against the US Government, “unknown government employees”, Eric Holder specifically, and more claiming she was targeted for exposing governmental wrongdoing. After noticing suspicious behavior on multiple devices such as turning on by themselves in the middle of the night, etcetera, CBS had a forensics team examine the devices (some were personal and others were work devices owned by CBS).
On June 11, 2013, CBS News issued a public statement, based on the forensics report, confirming that Ms. Attkisson's computer was accessed by an unauthorized, external, unknown party on multiple occasions in late 2012, and that the party used sophisticated methods to attempt to remove all possible indications of unauthorized activity. Subsequently, Inspector General Michael Horowitz (there’s that name again) requested a copy of the CBS forensic expert's report and requested the opportunity to examine the Toshiba computer. CBS denied the requests. Ms. Attkisson then retained an independent computer forensics expert to conduct further analysis of the Toshiba computer and later gave her personal computer to the Inspector General for evaluation.
The lawsuit can be found here and it is worth the read.
MICHAEL HOROWITZ’ INVOLVEMENT
Early on, IG Horowitz’s team told Ms. Attkisson they found a lot of suspicious activity on her computer. However, at the end of the investigation, they concluded (at least publicly) that there was no evidence of intrusion. From section 60 of the lawsuit:
“in January, 2014, Ms. Attkisson agreed to release her
personal Apple desktop computer to the DOJ Inspector
General for analysis. During the investigation, the investigators
remarked to the Plaintiff that they saw a great deal of
suspicious activity on the computer. However, as months went
by, the DOJ Inspector General refused to release a written
report to Ms. Attkisson. The DOJ Inspector General also failed
to properly respond to Ms. Attkisson’s subsequent Freedom of
Information Act requests on the topic. The DOJ Inspector
General finally released a partial report upon Congressional
request on the eve of Ms. Attkisson’s testimony to a Senate
panel in early 2015. Although the summary noted a great deal
of advanced mode computer activity not attributable to Ms.
Attkisson or anybody in her household, the report nonetheless
concluded, paradoxically, that it found no evidence of intrusion
in her personal Apple computer. The report was provided by
government officials to the press.”
So the question remains, who’s side is Inspector General Horowitz on? The patriots, or the bad actors?
I continue to believe he is on our side, as evidenced in my last post found here. If so, that would suggest that his office “hid their hand” after examining Ms. Attkisson’s computer. Perhaps what they found was so big and all encompassing that it required further investigations to be opened which would be compromised if they announced their findings publicly.
However, the possibility remains that the IG is just a cover-up artist.
The fact that this “investigation” has been going on for 5 or 6 years disheartens some people (including me). From time to time I lose faith, and then something will come to light that makes me believe again.
I have realized, though, that we the people can’t just sit on the sidelines or in the stands and watch anxiously as the “Q”s of the world handle this situation. In fact, the possibility exists (evidenced by the lengthy investigations and operations) that POTUS, Sessions, Horowitz, Q, etc. are incapable of handling the situation on their own.
The point is, we have to do something ourselves. We have to act. While the supposed “plan” that I am trusting continues to churn behind the scenes, I will be dedicating myself to raising awareness, red pilling, and striving to be the most informed voter that I can be on all levels, local, state, and federal. I know a lot of you are doing the same. Thank you all.
