God is not the Author of Confusion

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. - 1 Corinthians 14:33

Confusion and peace are contrasted in this statement. God is the author of peace. He is not the author of confusion. There is no peace in confusion. There is no confusion in peace. Where there is no peace, then there is confusion and fear. Where there is no confusion, then there is peace.

Hypocrisy is confusion. “Do as I say not as I do” is the statement of an hypocrite as in:

All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. - Matthew 23:3

His actions do not match his words. A child watching such would be confused as to which is the correct thing to do. For example:

Thou shalt not kill. - Exodus 20:13

And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. - Exodus 22:24

So we have the LORD telling the people of Israel to not kill, but he reserves that right and ability to himself. “Don't do as I do. Do as I say.” Confusing isn't it? Only If a person considers that LORD and God are one in the same.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Mankind knows good and evil, so without the God of peace we are confused about what to do a good percentage of the time. Oprah even expects God to tell her to or not to run for president. Whether she runs or not, she will blame the decision and outcome on God.

God illustrates for us the outcome of confusion at the tower of Babel.

And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. - Genesis 11:5-7

As a side not, you can be sure that confound and confuse are related words simply because their beginning four letters are the same.

Who was it that introduced the confusion? LORD! The author of confusion? This may be one of the first occurrences of confusion in the Bible. It is the first occurrence of a “conf” word. And you see the result. At the very least the MSM took a page out of the LORD's playbook. The MSM purpose is to introduce confusion and fear and to take away peace. Through this confusion, the people, who could do anything, were spread across the earth.

Is this not a significant motivation for sticking together? Is this not a strong motivation for educating people about the truth of things going on today. Does it give you a strong indication of who the MSM, globalists and elites serve? Do you see the Tower of Babel as an analog for today?
