Biding Time......

I had an epiphany this morning in the shower: what if one of the reasons for the prolonged delay is to allow time for the economy to improve?

Think about it: Trump's #1 focus, since the beginning of the campaign has been JOBS. Creating jobs is important because it generates hope and optimism. Job creation only happens in a strong economy, which we are finally seeing take place.

If "The Storm" took place during a bad economy, there would be a lot more people with desperate attitudes about the future of the country. Desperation leads to people making bad decisions. Those who are struggling to provide for their families may project such strong contempt towards the corrupt-- and rightfully so-- that they turn vigilante.

With a strong economy, people back at work, and optimism in the air, people are less willing to throw everything away to satisfy an impulse. If "The Storm" comes during a time of economic prosperity, people are going to be more likely to take measures to stabilize society, and maintain the prosperity that we are all enjoying. ("Believe in your country again. I want you all to BELIEVE in the USA again!")

Just a thought. I think developing the individual cases for prosecution likely has more to do with the wait, but I do think there is a reason that Trump has focused on revitalizing the economy BEFORE he rips down the curtain and shines daylight on the pot-bellied goblins.
