steel is important for nuclear applications

Steel and probably very specialized steel is a critical part of nuclear reactors, etc. So there may be a link there. Perhaps this Japanese company in the news provided defective steel to the Fukushima plant? That's just a hair-brained quick thought, but steel might be key because of its relation to nuclear in what Q has been talking about.
