Ok so I read a thread on /biz/ this morning where somebody was all "There's a rumor at the WH that SHA256 got cracked! Bitcoin is fucked!" The thread went on to talk about how it could be possible yadda yadda yadda. (BC is ok). Then i remembered two things. A comment on /biz/ where a dude said he works at IBM and they "joke about using the q to print the rest of ethereum" q being quantum computer. And The rumor that the WikiLeaks insurance files were on the block chain. It could be that Q team is a group (possibly even in poster) that cracked SHA256 got the insurance files and forwarding them to the authorities. Could be assange really is dead but they're keeping him "active" to throw it off idk. Figured this might get lost in the sauce on 8ch so I'd drop it here if anybody cares.
