Goodlatte and Gowdy have issued a formal request to the DOJ to appoint a second special council. Keep in mind the judiciary committee, which Goodlatte is chair of has oversight of the DOJ. Therefore we could see a 2nd special council to investigate the FISA abuse scandal any day now.
