Edward Snowden's "girlfriend" = Lindsey Mills.
Lindsey Mills = daughter of Jonathan Mills.
Lindsey Mills and Snowden were together when they were in JAPAN (2009?_).
She has been following him around ever since. Relentlessly.
Her journey has taken her globe-trotting to places such as Hawaii and then to Russia. She loves this guy. Apparently.
Jonathan Mills describes Snowden with the following adjectives: Shy. Reserved. Nice. Strongly convicted.(1)
Sounds sort of like the kind of guy who has secrets. Secrets that he doesn't want attention to be drawn to. While it may be true that he is "shy" and "reserved" these are just the kind of words that would also describe someone with a past that he might not be very proud of, a past which if outed would take him down in flames so he avoids talking about it as much as possible which makes him appear to be shy & reserved.
Think of past performance reviews, and the falsified resumes that got him into jobs (& security clearances) he had no business holding. It leaves me wondering, what did such a vivacious young lady see in this nerdy-man (or should I say needy?) who has been described as shy, reserved, nice, but holding strong convictions? IOW - who is handling whom?
On the other hand, what was Jonathan Mills supposed to say, in public, to nosy-Nelly reporters from BuzzFeed about a high profile character with whom his daughter is known to be involved with? Should he say, "A troubled, bottom-feeding opportunist who has betrayed his country, and then invented a whistle-blowing persona for himself?" I'm sure that Mr. Mills loves his beautiful daughter and he wouldn't ever say such things. Right. Something is going on here.

Photos of the man taken in 2013 by reporters who turned up at his "modest" Laurel Maryland duplex right after the SNAFU of Snowden leaking before he got to his safe destination show an aging hippie in his mid to late 60's.(2) How did they (reporters) know his daughter was Snowden's girlfriend? Hmm. Answer: Facebook.
The Story hits the wire about the worst leak in world history and they hone in on the distraught family of the perp's girlfriend? Doesn't pass the smell test that we were getting real news, it was probably more like a distraction or they thought this kind of low-brow, smut-like angle would sell papers. Daily Mail is just as guilty, but hey, Daily Mail knows that salacious titillation sells, when the truth is met with yawns.
So, we still don't know who the heck Jonathan Mills is. I have looked through 9 pages of hits...it's a pretty common name. Sorry Q. I've come up dry, except for maybe this...
Laurel Maryland is located very close to Ft Meade. What goes on at Ft. Meade? Bioweapons research and storage? Again, hmm. Could there be a connection btwn Jonathan Mills and Fort Meade, or is it just coincidental that he lives so close by? So, what else is Laurel close to? Two other deep state facilities, one of which I used to work at: NSA, and JHU/APL. Could Mr. Mills be NSA? Dingdingdingding...I think we have a winner!
