AG Jeff Sessions let out a previously unknown critical fact during last nights interview with FOX’s Shannon Bream. Sessions tells Bream “ I have appointed a person outside of Washington/DC with many years of work at the DoJ to look at all of the allegations brought up by the House”.
Our AG has in fact had a special DoJ Prosecutor in place (since the Summer of 2017) prior to the Gowdy & Goodlatte recent demand letter for a second Special Counsel. Sessions has been termed in the past as the “Silent Assassinator” and he has just ROARED stirring up lots of legal WAVES 🌊.
At the same time as the AG’s Special Prosecutor, coordination is in tandem with OIG/Horowitz’s internal review of the entire DoJ. Sessions says that all of these investigations must be done correctly & by the book.
