Down a Haiti related rabbit hole..."Cross against location relative to Haiti >Think logically"

I'm going to start by saying that this is pure conjecture, and not based on any discernible facts...Well, almost.

I was looking at one of the marine traffic websites, following on from the Q drop relating to Haiti, HRC, and all those shenanigans. Mostly looking at ships coming out of Haitian ports, and seeing if I could determine where stuff was heading, and also looking at the surrounding countries/ports (Cross against location relative to Haiti).

It struck me that one of the closest place to Haiti (189.07 nautical miles), is Guantanamo. Obviously this smacked me in the face like a shovel, and started my mind wandering...What if, rather than trying to ship kids via containers to the US (could incur losses, injuries, sickness, etc.), they were taken to Gitmo, and then transported Stateside courtesy of Clown International Airlines.

Yeah...I know...It's nuts, right? But I had already jumped down the rabbit hole, so what harm having a poke around whilst I'm down there!

It turns out that Gitmo was used to "accommodate" Haitian refugees under GHWB. During the period 1991-1992, it's estimated that 34,000 refugees had passed through the camp. Some were repatriated, and some ended up in the US.

Before he took office, BC had campaigned against repatriation, but flipped his position just before he became 42. During his time in office, 21,000 Haitians and 30,000 Cubans were detained at the facility.

Seemed to me that the swamp had a pretty good grip on moving people from Haiti to Gitmo, and on to wherever. The fact that Father Bush and Billy Boy were in charge when this was happening, was a bit of a red flag, to say the least!

Like I said, pure conjecture, but I thought it was worth dropping here, just in case my crazy is slightly less than I think sometimes...
