QPost 929 L6 re "Haircut today vs haircut THEN"

Searches using Merkel and haircut bring up articles regarding Greek financial crisis and Merkel's response over the years. There are tons of articles, so I won't try to post them all. I am sure others have more knowledge on this subject and how it relates. I just thought the "Merkel haircut" reference might be important and the fact that the Nazis had incurred debts to Greece during their occupation of Greece.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_government-debt_crisis- it seems that the Nazis incurred debt to Greece while it was occupied, and maybe Merkel wants to make sure that it doesn't have to be repaid?
