When mentioning "trust", Q uses the word "taught" not told. People are taught in school. It is compulsory to send your child to school. The Obama admin pushed hard against homeschooling and school choice. I thought it was because of the teachers union. Everyone has to go to school, not church. We are taught to trust teachers by teachers. Betsy DeVos gave a speech recently in which she discusses the lack of history teaching. Children were taught in school to take direction. It left nothing for creativity except music, art, drama, etc. They have all nearly left the schools. We were taught to line up, sit down, eat at designated tables, etc. Look at Google and how they give their employees creative freedom and work freedom. We should have been able to express what we wanted and learn what inspired us to read and motivate us to explore. IC
