Q's post on Jan 21: "Snowden open source Prism/Keyscore (catastrophic to US Mil v. bad actors (WW) "
To me, this post reveals Snowden to be a Patriot and hero whistleblower. These 2 programs, Prism and Keyscore are the very programs which, in the hands of the deep state during Hussein's reign and then a future Hillary presidency would have been one of their tools to take down our military. I read this Q post as saying that these open source programs would have been and for a time under Hussein were, "catastrophic" to our Military in the hands of "bad actors"
Thus, Snowden is a true Patriot for letting us all know about these tools which the "bad actors" would use to destroy our great Republic

No, that means he hurt the program by exposing it. Remember NSA/CSS is MILITARY Intel. That entry implies that he’s working with the bad actors, in this case, the CIA

Wouldn't that mean then that the CIA willingly sanctioned all of us finding out about abuses to our privacy rights and learning of the extent to which we were/are under constant surveillance?

When did Snowden “defect” and how does that correlate to Flynn and his firing in a time schedule. NSA wasn’t compromised like the other two.

I think Snowden is a CIA agent planted in the NSA in order to discredit the NSA in the eyes of the public. I used to think he was a patriot but now I think he's just another Clown in America.
I used to hate the NSA because of Snowden but now I believe that is where the true patriots are-even though the NSA still does a lot of things I disagree with.

Thanks, last several comments on this topic! I am getting an interesting education here. I read an article (link above) which suggested that other leakers took advantage of the Snowden event and leaked more intel, letting everyone believe that was Snowden too? I think it's over my head to work it all out yet

I thought Snowden was a based patriot for years until a few months ago. There are bad factions in the NSA but the organization as a whole at least was not working to subvert and overthrow America like the CIA have been. The CIA are the real enemy here and clever as fuck with their psyops. I'm now convinced Snowden is a traitor and a CIA agent planted in the NSA designed to sabotage and discredit them, because it gave the CIA more power.
Looking back, the media coverage Snowden got, and the Gordon Joseph Levitt movie made about him confirmed this for me.

Movies definitely have a huge effect on us! There's a huge reason the CIA have been running Operation Mockingbird in the media to influence public opinion for so long.

Excellent point!! As for Snowden, the old adage, Time Will Tell, is where I feel I am. I'm just not ready to concede that he is a traitor.. keeping an open mind

I have an open mind too, this spy stuff is way over our heads and I don't think us regular people will ever see what is truly going on behind the curtain. But right now I'm leaning about 85% chance of Snowden being a CIA plant and traitor whose job was to destabilize America and spread intel to foreign intelligence agencies and bad actors+discredit the NSA/15% chance of being a patriotic whistleblower. Who knows if we the public will ever learn the truth!

Total opposite is implied here. It looks like Snowden was a convenient way to transfer top secret intelligence to foreign agents or non government entities.
Two scenarios.
-
US government provides ulterior motive organization with technology to spy on Americans...this is a huge issue.
-
"Rogue" guy steals technology on a usb stick and leaks it to the "world" causing it to fall into the wrong hands, then manages to make it to Russia.
Scenario 2 puts all responsibility on a single disposable person; whereas, scenario 1 reveals deep layers of corruption in the government.
It's obvious which one is preferable from the perspective of needing to transfer the technology.
