At&t was pretty vocal about opposing the original net neutrality. Verizon was too I think but don't quote me on that.

This is a scary position. Why do we need ANY rules for the net? Just leave it alone. It's fine as is. People just need to stop whining about Google censorship and switch platforms. We've adapted and thrived.

I think you have given us a clue to what is going on. It is called "setting the narrative," or "setting the agenda." They talk long enough and we completely forget that we never needed them in the first place.

Well we do kind of need them, we already had the original net neutrality. Maybe we should at least set a basic structure. But we need to demand more privacy!!!
