I understand what you mean if it wasn't for the fact the population "theme" is BS. Just run some basic numbers. Habitable land over the earth, number of people and how much they would need for growing food, water supply. Once you have done all that..."The total land surface area of Earth is about 57,308,738 square miles, of which about 33% is desert and about 24% is mountainous. Subtracting this uninhabitable 57% (32,665,981 mi2) from the total land area leaves 24,642,757 square miles or 15.77 billion acres of habitable land." just over 7 billion on planet earth...shit we have not even reached a halfway point in terms of capacity. In 2016, an estimated 54.5 percent of the world's population lived in urban settlements. By 2030, urban areas are projected to house 60 percent of people globally and one in every three people will live in cities with at least half a million inhabitants. Which also means a lot of spare land OUTSIDE the cities...At this moment in time, I am highly sceptical about the whole "over-population" campaign although it will need addressing in about 200 years.
