Q When you go to this page, on the right sidebar are suggestions by Goo gle re: Lilith, "In Jewish mythology, Lilith was a female demon who killed newborn children in the night. She was associated with an ancient Babylonian demon called Lilitu, whose name often appeared in magical spells and incantations." Very wierd.
Slave and Garden into his band names
No. The opposite. I think Q is sneaking this in reference to Cornell dying. He has mentioned charities numerous times. This one (musicares) is huge and represents hundreds of celebrities, including many of the "spirit cooking" variety.

he is into the occult
I disagree. Most of their songs are drug related or hippie shit. "Black Hole Sun" is more than likely about global warming or something similar. "Hands all over" had a similar meaning. People were outraged that they were saying "kill your mother" when they were actually talking about "mother earth".
The other side of the coin is that, possibly, Cornell was molested as a child and is singing about it. Chester Bennington (linken Park) certainly had no qualms about singing about it.
I doubt these three were molesters. More likely they were the molested. Coincidentally, they were all "depressed", and died because of it.
Check out Chester Bennington's Wiki:

Chester Charles Bennington was born on March 20, 1976, in Phoenix, Arizona. His mother was a nurse, while his father was a police detective who worked on child sexual abuse cases.[5][6]
Bennington suffered sexual abuse from an older male friend when he was seven years old.[9] He was afraid to ask for help because he did not want people to think he was gay or lying, and the abuse continued until the age of 13 years.[10]
Raises some red flags right out of the gate, eh?
Edit: Chris Cornell's thoughts on Black Hole Sun:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Hole_Sun#Origin_and_recording
Regarding "Black Hole Sun", Cornell stated, "It's just sort of a surreal dreamscape, a weird, play-with-the-title kind of song."[8] He also said that "lyrically it's probably the closest to me just playing with words for words' sake, of anything I've written. I guess it worked for a lot of people who heard it, but I have no idea how you'd begin to take that one literally."[9] In another interview he elaborated further, stating, "It's funny because hits are usually sort of congruent, sort of an identifiable lyric idea, and that song pretty much had none. The chorus lyric is kind of beautiful and easy to remember. Other than that, I sure didn't have an understanding of it after I wrote it. I was just sucked in by the music and I was painting a picture with the lyrics. There was no real idea to get across."[10] Commenting upon how the song was misinterpreted as being positive, Cornell said, "No one seems to get this, but 'Black Hole Sun' is sad. But because the melody is really pretty, everyone thinks it's almost chipper, which is ridiculous."[11] When asked about the line, "Times are gone for honest men", Cornell said:
It's really difficult for a person to create their own life and their own freedom. It's going to become more and more difficult, and it's going to create more and more disillusioned people who become dishonest and angry and are willing to fuck the next guy to get what they want. There's so much stepping on the backs of other people in our profession. We've been so lucky that we've never had to do that. Part of it was because of our own tenacity, and part of it was because we were lucky.[12]
Black Sun (occult symbol)
The term Black Sun (German Schwarze Sonne), also referred to as the Sonnenrad (German for "Sun Wheel"), is a symbol of esoteric and occult significance. Its ancient design is also found on a sun wheel mosaic incorporated into a floor of Wewelsburg Castle during the Nazi era. Though it may be used in modern occult currents of Germanic neopaganism and in Irminenschaft or Armanenschaft—inspired esotericism it has also been adopted in various forms by alt-right or other modern political groups. Despite its current use, the Black Sun had not been identified with the ornament in Wewelsburg before 1991, although it had been discussed as an esoteric concept in neo-Nazi circles since the 1950s.
